Give us a quick intro to who you are…

I’m Michael Dupree the Senior AV Manager here at BBJ&K. Proud Brummie and family man.

How did you come to work at BBJ&K?

This is my second time around at BBJ&K. The first time around I had just come back from travelling around Asia and was lucky enough to get a job right away after 4 months out. My current stint came whilst working in Germany where again I bought TV/AV internationally. Right place right time for both scenarios.

Evolving, Excel, Data.

What’s something that’s surprised you about working at BBJ&K?

How welcoming everyone is.

What do you like to do outside of work?

Going on adventures with my little family and watching football.

What is your biggest achievement?

Being a father.

What’s your favourite ad campaign?

The Cage by Nike. I remember my mom buying the silver scorpion ball and all I did was practice in the garden doing tricks like in the ad.

What is your favourite thing to do in Birmingham?

Going down to St Andrews to watch my beloved Birmingham City.

If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Let It Be, by The Beatles.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

What will be will be – my Nan used to say it to me and it has always stuck.
